How we verify
This site exists because Curaçao price information online is scattered, undated and frequently wrong. Here's exactly what we do about that.
The rule
We never publish a fee, opening time, phone number or coordinate we haven't sourced. If we don't have it, the field is blank. There are no estimates, no "typically around", no rounded guesses. A blank is more useful than a plausible fiction.
Confidence levels
Every price on the site carries one of these four states.
Confirmed at the operator's own website, an official authority, or checked in person. The strongest thing we publish.
A single dated third-party source. Usually right, occasionally out of date, not confirmed at the operator.
Sources disagree. We show the range instead of picking one and pretending to be sure.
Past due for a re-check. Still shown, but visibly downgraded — staleness should be obvious, not hidden.
Currency
Curaçao replaced the Antillean guilder with the Caribbean guilder (XCG) in 2025. We store every price in the currency the source actually published — some operators quote XCG, some quote US dollars. Conversions are calculated at the fixed peg of USD 1 = XCG 1.79 and always labelled as conversions.
What visitor reviews count for
Recent reviews are useful corroboration and we record them. They never promote a price to verified on their own — several people remembering the same figure isn't the same as the operator publishing it.
