Avila Beach Hotel day pass · Pietermaai
The cleanest genuine day pass on the island, and the only one under USD 30 that gets you a pool as well as a beach. Avila sits on the Pietermaai side of Willemstad, ten minutes' walk from Punda, which makes it the one on this page a cruise passenger can reach without a car.
Includes: Both of Avila's private beaches and the infinity pool, beach chairs, stand-up paddle boards and reef-safe sunscreen.

Mangrove Beach Corendon day pass · Piscadera
The most generous pass on the island on paper — an aquapark, several pools, a beach, a gym, a buffet lunch and unlimited drinks in a six-hour window — and the only one that publishes all of that without publishing what it costs. The figure appears once you pick a date in the booking widget and nowhere in the page itself, so we have left the price blank rather than quote a number we cannot point at.

Includes: Buffet lunch between 12:00 and 14:30, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks, and use of the Aquapark, the pools, the beach and the gym.

Everyone on a day pass must hand over photo ID at the security gate; it is returned on the way out. Resort dress code applies indoors. Card payment online, cash only at the Corendon Travel Agency on Scharlooweg 27.

Papagayo Beach Club day pass · Jan Thiel
Papagayo sits inside the Jan Thiel beach complex, so its day pass and the Jan Thiel gate fee are two separate transactions at two separate desks. It is also the operator that publishes the most figures of anyone on this page — and contradicts itself on three of them, which is why its rows below carry ranges rather than a single number.

Beach club entrance with chair: Papagayo publishes two different entrance fees for the same beach club. Its wellness page says XCG 10 / USD 6; its Beach Club experience page says USD 10 / XCG 17.50 per person. Both were retrieved on 2026-09-24 and neither carries a date, so neither supersedes the other. Budget for the higher figure.
Regular VIP cabana: The cabana's own booking page prints USD 85.71 (XCG 150.00); the Beach Club experience page prints USD 90 (XCG 158) for the same tier. Both retrieved 2026-09-24.
The day-pass form is a request, not a confirmation — Papagayo's team confirms availability by email. Cabanas are held for 30 minutes past the reserved time.
