Everyone goes as a day trip, and the vessel matters more than the price — a catamaran crossing and a speedboat crossing are genuinely different days out.
The crossing is open water and it can be rough. Speedboats are faster but take the swell harder; catamarans are slower and steadier. If anyone in your group is prone to seasickness, that trade-off matters more than anything else on this page.
